Use validated material, cooling, boundary and process inputs, then retain convergence and comparison with moulding trials. A surrogate can screen design alternatives but must state its validity range.
CAD/CAM and CNC workflow
Version geometry, toolpaths, postprocessor, machine configuration, cutting data and inspection plan. Parallel CPU capacity can reduce regeneration and verification time; GPU resources can assist visualisation and supported AI methods. Generated CNC or control output must pass simulation, collision review, peer approval and controlled release to the machine.
Automation and virtual commissioning
X1150-C AxiGovernor supports PLC/motion builds, TwinCAT integration and simulation for handling, moulding and secondary operations. Exercise sequence, interlock, recovery and fault cases before commissioning. Inspection and process learning
Link dimensional, surface, cavity-pressure, temperature, cycle and quality information to tool, insert, material, machine and recipe. Vision can assist surface/part inspection when acquisition is controlled. Models should distinguish tool wear from material or setup changes and produce actionable recommendations with evidence.
